Flexible cancellation terms

During the COVID-19 pandemic we offer flexible cancellation. You can cancel up to 7 days before the check-in date. Our flexible terms & conditions enable you to book knowing that should you cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund you in full.  Please contact us in writing should you need to cancel your holiday.

Should you need to cancel your holiday within 7 days of arrival we will charge the total price of the booking unless it is a COVID-19 related cancellation. Proof of the reason of cancellation (such as a positive COVID-19 test from one of your party members) would be sought and we would only charge the initial 25% booking deposit for your stay. We will also intend to re-market any properties available due to cancellation at short notice regardless.

Risk Assessment

  • In line with the guidelines provided by the trade association PASC UK (The Professional Association of Self-Caterers) along with our risk management agency, we will be conducting a detailed Risk Assessment to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

  • We will continually review our Risk Assessment to take into account any changes in guidelines or legislation.

  • Our Risk Assessment will be available on request before our holiday cottage opens in late July.

Cleaning protocols

·      In line with Government regulations, we will operate on a minimal contact basis during your stay. The handover of keys will be done in a socially distanced way and any necessary contact will be done with social distancing measures in place and with a face mask. Full details will be sent to you before arrival.

·      We ask guests to adhere to the current regulations on gatherings and indoor contact.

·      We/ Our cleaning team will wear the appropriate PPE and will adhere to the guidelines set out by PASC UK for deep cleaning our properties between guests and provide sanitising products where necessary. We are happy to provide our cleaning checklist on request and risk assessment.

·      Where possible we are using hospital grade Virucidal disinfectants that comply with EN 14675.

·      We ask you not to bring bleach with you as we will provide appropriate cleaning products within the property.

Property arrival and departure

Arrival: Our check-in time at the property is from 16.00 onwards on your day of arrival. Due to our strict cleaning practices you will not be provided with access to the cottage unless we have prior agreed in writing in special circumstances.

During the pandemic we will minimise contact with guests – all information about your arrival and entry/check-out departure from the property will be sent to you in advance.

We will happily meet you outdoors at a safe distance as we are looking forward to meeting our guests – we can arrange this via message/phone/email or you can decline the offer. You are welcome to contact us via phone or email at any point during your stay.

 

Departure: During the pandemic we would appreciate it if you can help us with a few things, which will help us a lot!

Please leave on-time before 10am – no excuses. Late departures may be charged at our discretion at a price of £50 p/h.

Please remove linen from the used beds, including mattress and pillow protectors, and put them in black bin liners. Please also bag up all the towels in the same way. 
Please bag all rubbish and place outside the front door and remove all of your food items at the end of the stay.

Please wash up all used crockery in hot water before departing and leave on the draining board.

As with any holiday, we strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance with COVID-19 cover.
