Enrich your stay

A talk about the farm

Farming is a way of life and it presents many challenges throughout each year for us and the entire farming community. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our arable farm life, what we grow on the farm here, the history of the farm and anything in a bit more detail for our agri guests. We’ve been asked the more simple questions like ‘what does wheat look like?’, to what ‘varieties are we growing this year and how have we managed the crop?’ - we welcome the opportunity to talk farming anytime, it’s our passion!

We know it can be a special opportunity to stay on a real life farm, and if you have any questions to ask, or would like a short walk and talk about what we do here please don’t hesitate to ask, we’d be happy to give an insight to this vital industry from our farm - whether just about the crops we grow, or the bigger picture, we feel it’s important to share and help educate people. We can either pre-book this prior to your stay or we will try to be available! We always try to swing by and wave hello, please feel free to message us.

We also have a YouTube channel you’re welcome to find that gives a bit of an insight to farm life when we get time to make videos! Just search JB Farming Life!
